The Non-Destructive Bevel allows to add a bevel node on polygon meshes that keeps your original object intact and that will persist through any kind of modifications.

You can modify the original object and all modifications will be propagated to the beveled object. You can do any type of destructive operation on the original object such as booleans, the Non-Destructive Bevel will always be kept intact.

Furthermore, the bevel vertex normals are face weighted automatically which provide a proper smoothing unlike the default Maya bevel.

You can stretch your objects however you want, the bevels are always kept uniform no matter the scale values.
