The GENtools Menu can be accessed from Maya’s viewport in form of a marking menu. To take effect, all you have to do is to assign a hotkey to the GENtools Marking Menu and use the hotkey to open the marking menu.
To assign a hotkey to the GENtools Marking Menu, open the Maya hotkey editor and find the hotkey entry in the Custom Scripts tab under GENtools → Marking Menus → GENtools Marking Menu.
To work properly, you need to assign the same hotkey to both the Press and Release function and make sure the release function is set to “On Release”.
