Managing hotkeys

All of our tools are available in the Maya hotkey editor, so you can assign or remove hotkeys as you wish.

Some tools may have context sensitive hotkeys, those will not be editable in the hotkey editor but you may check their own documentation for any information.

Assigning hotkeys #

Open the hotkey editor
Select Custom Scripts, and navigate through the GENtools category.
Click on the hotkey field and press the hotkey combination to assign your hotkey.

Removing hotkeys #

Open the hotkey editor
Select Custom Scripts, and navigate through the GENtools category.
Click on the hotkey field and press the clear icon to remove the hotkey assignation.
