When Create Primitive Live is enabled, the user can customize some interactive creation settings through the Interactive Creation Options window which are detailed below.
You can open the Create Primitive Live Options by clicking on the option box from the menu bar under Create → Polygon Primitives → Interactive Creation.
You can also access the Create Primitive Live Options from the Create Polygon marking menus by pressing Shift + RMBRight Mouse Button while nothing is selected.
You can enable or disable Create Primitive Live whenever you want by activating or deactivating this checkbox.
By default, when you enter the interactive creation mode, the display mode of the viewport will automatically change to Wireframe On Shaded.
If you prefer to keep your display mode unchanged while creating new primitives, you can disable this behavior by unchecking the checkbox.
If this option is enabled and you create a new primitive and you are currently in isolate mode, you will still be able to see your object that you create and it will also be added to the isolate set automatically.
By default, you cannot see objects that you create when you are in isolate mode.
Activating this option can have a small performance hit when creating new primitive in a very heavy scene in isolate mode.
MAYA 2018+ ONLY
Enabling this option will improve the orientation of the primitives created with the Interactive Creation tool when the target face has a complex angle.
